Public prices involving The Children's Place
- The customer databases of Gymboree and Crazy 8, valued on their own in the buyer's purchase-price allocation of the Gymboree Assets (The Children's Place).
The buyer's accounting split of a realised $76 million bankruptcy purchase, not a separate sale: the closest a public filing comes to a price for a retailer's customer data alone. Status: bankrupt seller. A three-year useful life says the buyer expected the list's value to run off quickly. Filed as the deal's value (unit contract), not as a price for one company's records: a customer file valued inside a rival retailer's brand purchase, which is the market's news rather than a holder's comparison (the rule of 19 Oct 2026 in prices.ts companyDataSales).

Customer databases ... 3,000 (in thousands)per customer database of one company, as allocated by the buyer within a brand-and-data purchase
- Gymboree Group's intellectual property and related assets: worldwide rights to the Gymboree and Crazy 8 names, trademarks, domain names, design rights and customer databases, bought at the Chapter 11 auction by a subsidiary of The Children's Place.
Status: bankrupt (Gymboree Group, Bankr. E.D. Va., second Chapter 11 in 2019). The buyer was named the successful bidder on 1 Mar 2019; the court approved the sale on 4 Mar 2019 and the buyer completed it on 4 Apr 2019. The lot is two brands plus their customer databases. Filed as the whole lot's value (unit contract), as the 19 Oct Rite Aid lot was, so a brand's price does not set the rate for a company's records alone.
