Introduce a holder
Know someone sitting on data? Introduce them.
A friend whose startup closed with years of records. A client with a specialised business. A studio with an archive. If a sale closes, you earn one third of our fee on it.
One third of our fee, for 12 months.
Paid out of our fee, after we are paid, on that holder's sales that close within 12 months of the day you register the introduction. Only the holder pays us, a fee fixed in the mandate, and only if a sale closes. In a sale we run no buyer pays us, so our fee depends on what you are paid, not on which buyer pays it. A buyer pays us only if you choose to apply to it through its own referral programme, and you see that amount before you choose.

Who makes a good introducer: anyone a data holder already trusts
Friends, colleagues, investors
Accountants and fractional CFOs
IT providers
Lawyers and advisers
Tell your client you are paid, in writing.
Accountants, lawyers and other regulated advisers may usually take a referral fee only with the client's informed consent, and some may not take one at all: an accountant who audits the client, or a lawyer in a jurisdiction that forbids it. Check your own rules first.
On request, we give you a one-paragraph disclosure for your client, and you can decline the share or have it credited to the holder instead. Your share is a share of our fee, not of how much data your client hands over.
