In the brokerage market
Oct 2026, price range
$100K to $5M
Indicative payout range on its public page (undated, read 2026-10-16). The release says payment varies with the amount and type of eligible data.
Oct 2026, buyer program
$5 Billion
The $5 billion appears only in the headline of a paid Business Wire release. The body does not say what it counts, who funds it, or whether it is a purchase budget. Terms in the release: 14-day non-binding letter of intent, collection and de-identification over 15 to 30 days, payment expected within about 60 days; eligible organisations have 20 or more full-time US office employees (10 for accounting firms, 6 for law firms). Neither the release nor Mode's half-year filing explains the figure: the filing shows $15.5 million of cash at 30 Jun 2026, a going-concern doubt that management says is alleviated, and no mention of data licensing.
