Why labs pay for it
Labs train agents by having them attempt tasks thousands of times with a grader scoring each try. Good tasks are hard to write and expire once models pass them, so labs buy them continuously.
RisingFrontier labs sign six- and seven-figure contracts a quarter for environments, and some buy tens of thousands of tasks a month (2026). Generic web-app replicas are commoditising.
- Independent builders and small studios
- Research groups
- Companies with internal evaluation sets
- Domain experts
- Tasks with an automatic grader for each
- A working replica of an app for an agent to practise in
- A private evaluation set no model has seen
- A curated dataset in a narrow field
- Graders that cannot be fooled
- A professional domain where the builder has real expertise
- Difficulty calibrated so models pass sometimes, not always
- Exclusivity, which buyers pay several times more for
- Tasks a model already passes
- Graders that reward shortcuts
- Replicas of common apps, which many vendors now build
You must own the environment and everything inside it. Tasks derived from someone else's proprietary material carry that material's restrictions.
We take finished, tested work to labs and environment buyers, and broker buyers' requests to builders who can meet them.
